El Dulce - Colombia

El Dulce is exactly what it sounds like: the sweet one. This washed coffee from Colombia comes to us from our friends at Yellow Rooster, sourced from a tight-knit group of 20–30 small producers near La Unión in Colombia’s high-altitude Nariño region. Grown at elevations pushing 1,900+ meters, these coffees benefit from volcanic soil, cool mountain air, and plenty of sunshine. Basically a dream setup for sweetness and clarity.

Only the sweetest lots make the cut here (hence the name), and the careful washed process keeps everything clean, bright, and beautifully balanced. In the cup, expect cozy notes of apple crisp and sweet cream, with a light/medium roast profile that shines as an everyday drip coffee.
