About this coffee: Sourced from the Catatumbo Coffee Growers’ Cooperative, this regional blend represents the work of thousands of smallholder producers across Norte de Santander. Founded in 1980, the cooperative has grown into a vital support system for over 17,000 farming families, providing fair purchasing, low-interest financing, agricultural resources, and ongoing education.

More than just a supply chain partner, the cooperative plays a key role in elevating quality and sustainability throughout the region—connecting producers across 25 municipalities and fostering long-term growth through collaboration and shared knowledge.

During our visit in 2025, we met with community leaders and producers who are actively shaping the future of coffee in Catatumbo. Farmers like Eilen Andrés Gallardo and Fernanda of La Laguna are blending tradition with innovation—experimenting with varietals and refining fermentation techniques to improve cup quality while preserving their land and culture.

What’s in the cup? This is a clean, balanced Colombian profile with layered sweetness and structure with dark chocolate, caramelized sugar and an herbal backbone.
