About this coffee: Carlos Roldán is no stranger to these parts! We had their washed Farm Blend on the Otus menu for well over 8 months and it became a fan favorite. Unfortunately that lot did finally run dry but boy oh boy do we have a fun coffee from Carlos to follow. This is not going to be a classic everyday drinker like the farm blend. This coffee is more of an experimental coffee and the flavors are interestingly delicious!
What’s in the cup? As a very unique anaerobic natural, we find the cup to be spiced, nutty and a slightly fruited. As we continue to drink it as a regular drip coffee, we are starting to get a butterscotch/caramel vibe as the coffee rests. It really is one of the most interesting coffees we have had out of Guatemala and sure to be loved by all.
