This very well may be the finest coffee we have released yet. This light roast is an anaerobic natural processed coffee from Costa Rica. Once ground, it has a wild aroma of dark berries, chocolate and wine-like booziness. Once brewed, the cup is popping with blackberry, dark fruit and even brown sugar that finishes sweet with solid body that reminds us of a rye whiskey. If you like fruity light roasts, you MUST try this gem coffee!
You may be wondering what "Anaerobic" means when it comes to coffee processing. Basically this is when the coffee was aged in the coffee cherry after harvested but instead of laying them in the sun on a raised bed, the farmer puts them inside barrels during the fermentation process. The CO2 that is released during fermentation pushes out all the oxygen that may affect the coffee cherry for a very unique processing method. The result is a complex cup that is unlike anything we have tried before. Cheers!
