The long awaited round two of the Worka Sakaro from Ethiopia has landed and this time we are calling it Mango Juice! Although we would have loved to have named this Berries & Cream #2, the tasting notes have changed but the magic still lives on. This coffee was processed via an anaerobic natural process which tends to result in different tasting notes for each lot and we LOVE how this one is tasting.
What's in the cup? It's a familiar aroma from last years lot when grinding of this coffee and it will make your mouth water. Once brewed, blood orange and fresh mango are the first two things that came to us as we sipped it. As it cools, it becomes even more apparent that this style of processing creates a wild and adventurous cup. As you get to the second half of your cup, a beautiful floral aspect takes over that remind us of hibiscus tea. It's really a special coffee and we know you will enjoy!
Best brewed as a pour-over/drip coffee but also makes for a wildly adventurous espresso. Enjoy the journey with this one, cheers!
